Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham by the Falls / Niagara Falls

it’s a really good hotel. very good location, the bus and Wego stops are just outside the hotel door . The room is big , clean and quiet. Good service.

The service is great. Able to deposit luggage when there. Upon check in, just need to inform that pre check in is done. The room is big to have 2 big luggage open at the same time. The toilet is having basin and bath/toilet separated. Allowing 2 different ppl to prepare at different times. Cleaning every 3 days. Will be great if there are more shampoo/Conditioner and soap. Cos the bottles are too small for 2 pax for 3 nights. I am too lazy to ask so I use mine and let my partner use theirs.

It was a nice and affordable place to stay. It’s close to Niagara Falls, fast food, and everything we needed was within walking distance. The kids really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t really like was that the chlorine in the pool was very strong, and my kids kept coughing every time they went swimming.

Swimming area my family really enjoyed my brother came first time he really like it he said we will go back there again

Overall everything was good. The room was clean and as described. Only 2 points compared with other accommodations with same price range: The toilet was almost of Kleenex. The pool was okay. However, we expected more adjustable chairs for sun bathing and a bar for drinks at least.

I am writing this review to make aware of a situation. When I checked into this hotel I was very tired and exhausted from the long drive. The check in person asked how many people and I told him 3 people. 2 adults and 1 child. He told me I had to pay for an extra adult. I told him the it’s a two queen room the child with sleep on my bed. He told me that’s the policy. I had to pay $60 the extra guest for 3 nights plus $75 parking for 3 nights. The next morning after I thought about the extra guest fee I told a different check in person about the incident. They advised me that I should not have been charged as I didn’t have any extra guest and I was charged an upgrade fee which shouldn’t have been charged as I already had paid for the balcony room. She advised me that she would be cancelling the charges that were wrongfully charged. Now it’s been a few days and I still have not seen that charge get taken off my credit card. I am very disappointed and upset at the service.

Stayed here with my partner for our anniversary. The room was nice, clean and had decent amenities. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, it did however take a while to fill and was a bit loud. It wasn't a big complaint for us, we were more concerned about disrupting other guests. We brought this concern to the front and they told us not to worry. Very kind reception, very helpful as well! The location is great for visiting Clifton Hill. Very quick walk to almost all the attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby, we even checked out a few bars close by as well. The room is not crazy fancy by any means, but it does the job of being a place to relax at the end of the night. The suite we had was a bit small, and felt similar in size to that of a standard hotel room. TV was a bit old, worked fine with what we had. The biggest amenities it had were the jacuzzi tub and king size bed. The shower was small and the water pressure left more to be desired. I had better pressure at home so this was a bit of a letdown 😞. The light in our bathroom was flickering if I remember too, might be worthwhile for the hotel to check up on that. Getting around the hotel was alright, sometimes the elevators took forever or just didn't come, so we often opted for the stairs. However, if you have mobility restrictions, this may be an annoyance. They still work, just take a while sometimes, so I'd recommend planning for extra time if you have any time restrictions or reservations. Parking was decent, not too expensive and adequate spots in a shaded parking area. It's not a very tall parking garage/area, so the ceiling could scrape bigger vehicles. For reference, I'm about the average height for my gender and almost could touch the ceiling. If you have a fairly large vehicle, I'd recommend calling the hotel to ask what the maximum height for the parking garage is to avoid any need for a new paint job. Overall, it's not bad. For the price you pay, you get a great location if you want to do all the tourist activities. Clean enough to not worry, and decent enough amenities to get you by. If the hotel isn't the attraction but just the place to stay, this is a good choice.
