Sharing some photos of our dining experience at the Ash Street Inn. Lovely experience overall!

Complete gem. Design was truly unique. The rooms have everything you need, from robes to coffee, and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve stayed in at a hotel. It is virtually managed and the digital checkin experience was seamless. The virtual guest experience manager was available 24/7. And the whole Victorian design was beautifully recreated to foster communal space and conversation. Best boutique hotel in Manchester.

Don’t Be Fooled by past reviews that this is the leader in B&Bs, and particularly that the husband and wife owners are always on hand pampering their guests. They sold the property in early 2026 and there is no management on scene now. Breakfast is a cup of coffee and a token for $12 at a tiny place 15 minutes away. New owners did a cosmetic makeover that did nothing to improve the stay. Our room, described as the best of the six rooms (on 3 floors with no elevator) had no closet, a few drawers were filled with spare towels because no place in the bathroom, a single small chair, a single small trash can, and walls and ceilings painted a dark blue so the room was like a dungeon. Worst of all, the inn now serves dinner for up to 20 people on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights 5:30-9. The noise is deafening, the crowd prevents occupants from using the small sitting room, and parking is crowded. We paid $400 a night and were asked to ***** our bedding before departing! What used to be a special place is now an overpriced inconvenience to be avoided

Don’t believe what you read about Ash Street Inn; the reviews do not apply to the new owners. Nothing promised was not delivered. And if you’re expecting a quiet stay, don’t plan on Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights. New owners are trying to add revenue by having select dinners. Smart idea but is lacking in the planning and logistics. The new idea for the Inn to open its kitchen for curated chef-selected menus, attracts loud, alcohol consuming GenX and Millennials who are not respectful of the paying overnight guests. What amenities does it not have that’s publicized? Breakfast onsite for one, and televisions in two rooms. Of course I booked one of the rooms that does not have a television inadvertently. On the first floor. Where the dinner was. Luckily, I had dinner plans and was picked up by my friend. Got back to the inn about 8:45 and if I needed to park, there was no parking within 2-3 blocks. The dinner is advertised to be from 6:30-8:30; it was going strong until almost 10pm. Also, if it’s important to your travel plans to stay at an Inn that has the owners on property, this is not the place, even though the reviews state that the owners are there. As a woman traveling alone I would have never chosen the Ash Street Inn because of it. Don’t believe the reviews; nothing applies because the ownership has changed hands and the new owners are riding on the coattails of the previous owners. Save yourself some griefs and $$s; stay at a Holiday Inn.

Cute little boutique inn and such a great find near Boston! Cook design and awesome food if you can get a table!!! It’s sold out but the Chef snuck us some snacks :)

Room was very clean, quiet and secure. Great location and within walking distance. Was there for graduation from SNHU. Only downside was no mini fridge, no closet, and no onsite breakfast. Would stay there again

Margit and Rob's inn/home is beautiful! The breakfast is delicious and the breakfast room is quaint and homey. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend booking the Currier Museum/Frank Lloyd Wright houses tour as part of your stay!

Loved the charm of this place. It’s an old house though so comes with all of the things an old house has. Creaky floors. Super thin walls. We had our room on the main floor and could hear every single word being said by anyone in the parlor or dining room. So to the gal who was complaining at 6am in the lobby about the heat in her room… thanks for ruining both of our mornings. Beautifully designed and decorated. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel stay. Walkable to the downtown hustle and bustle. Loved the bees at the Honey Cup also. What a sweet spot with the nicest people and delicious foods.

Lovely and charming but the all digital no-staff model takes getting use to.
