Sungold Designer Hotel (Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road, Chengdu)

أحب الغرفة التي تحتوي على مسبح وصالة ألعاب رياضية، وتكلفتها 40 دولارًا في المرة الواحدة، وهي مجهزة بحوض استحمام، وهذا ما يعجبني فيها أكثر.

تتمثل الميزة الأبرز للفندق في موقعه الممتاز. فهو يقع على بُعد خطوات من تايكو لي وشارع تشونشي، مما يجعله مثاليًا للتسوق وتناول الطعام واستكشاف مدينة تشنغدو. كانت الغرفة نظيفة ومريحة، إلا أن الإضاءة كانت خافتة نوعًا ما، وكثرة المرايا فيها أضفت عليها طابعًا رومانسيًا. وبسبب هذا التصميم، أعتقد أنها أنسب للأزواج من المسافرين المنفردين أو الأصدقاء المسافرين معًا. عمومًا، يُعد الفندق خيارًا جيدًا إذا كان الموقع هو أولويتك القصوى، ولكن تصميم الغرفة قد لا يُناسب جميع الأذواق.

الغرف ليست كما في الصور. الأثاث نفسه، لكن لا يوجد منظر لأفق المدينة، فقط أشجار، وهذا فقط من أجل الصورة على الموقع الإلكتروني. كانت غرفتنا الأولى متسخة ومتعفنة في الحمام، وكان مكيف الهواء يتسرب على وسائدنا، وجهاز العرض لا يعمل، ومقابس الكهرباء معطلة، فطلبنا تغيير الغرفة. كانت الغرفة الجديدة أنظف، لكن الحمام لا يزال متعفنًا، والثلاجة لا تعمل (قال الموظفون إنه لا يوجد ضاغط، لذا لن تبرد، مع أن ثلاجة الغرفة الأولى كانت تعمل بشكل جيد)، وجهاز العرض لا يعمل أيضًا. كان الموظفون متعاونين قدر استطاعتهم، لكن كان من الواضح أنهم لا يعرفون كيفية استخدام المرافق. مرافق غسيل الملابس المتوفرة عبارة عن غسالة ومجفف في غرفة التخزين الخلفية، وقال الموظفون إن غسل ملابسنا سيستغرق حوالي 4 ساعات. باختصار، كانت الغرفة مكانًا للنوم لليلة واحدة، لكنني لا أنصح بها.

It's very convenient, just a 10 min walk to the majority of amenities and tube. Room was clean and had complimentary water and coffee, just as basic toiletries. There are literally dozens of small shops, eateries, hairdressers, beauticians and malls in 5min walk range. The staff was polite and helpful.

Overall, we had a great stay at Sungold Designer Hotel. The location is excellent, very close to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road, which made it really convenient for exploring Chengdu. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. We especially loved the large bathtub—it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Our stay at this property was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was consistently spotless and well-maintained, thanks to the diligent daily cleaning service. The staff were wonderfully accommodating, promptly addressing our requests and ensuring we were comfortable throughout our visit. We also loved the prime location—just a stone's throw from the city center, which made exploring all the main sights on foot incredibly easy. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time here. If I could offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to introduce a buffet breakfast option, as it would save guests the hassle of ordering takeout or heading out first thing in the morning. That minor point aside, this place is absolutely worth the stay.
