Extended Stay America Premier Suites – Phoenix - Chandler – Airport

To start there was hardly ever anyone at the desk if we needed help. We showed up to our room and there was a fecal covered toilet paper on the floor next to the bed, food still in the fridge and the seat in the shower was covered in feces as well. We needed and extra blanket and they wouldn't give us one because we needed to give them one to get a new one but we needed another so that defeated the purpose. Same with towels they wouldn't answer the phone so we had to go down stairs just to be told the same thing. There were no shower amenities so when we got there we had to go to the front to get them (still no phone answer) The shower was nuts the shower curtain didn't go to the floor (accessibility shower I get it) but that meant that water went EVERYWHERE and when you have kids it was extra bad no lip to the shower so the water just goes out into the bathroom. Awful beds and comforters that were as thin as paper Will never stay here again

The property was clean and the area was safe. There was ample parking and well lit. The breakfast was included but was only available until 9am on a weekend. I think that's kind of early for a weekend since people staying at a hotel on a sat/sun are usually on vacation. 10am would've been better. Also, there's no pool. For AZ in the summer, that's also almost a necessity. However, the staff was great. Super friendly and professional and the check-in was super quick. I would stay here again for sure.

Very convenient location. Rooms nicely equipped for our 1 night stay. Only needed to ask for any additional needs. Beds comfortable. Very reasonable good price. Would book again. Only con: Ceiling not real well insulated. Could hear walking above.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was not helpful when we tried to check in early even though the hotel was not full, we arrived at 12pm and had to wait until 3pm without a car. The nearest mall with restaurants is close to 2 miles away which required us to take an uber to shuttle back and forth for lunch and dinner. The biggest disappointment were the breakfast and the breakfast area. There was no fresh fruit, only packaged cereal and yoghurt. For the cereal there were no bowls offered, it had to be eaten out of coffee cup. And there was only 1 chair to use in the breakfast room, so everyone had to stand while eating. I expected more from "breakfast included".

This hotel is clearly designed for someone who is there for more than an overnight stay like we were. While the room was spacious, the full fridge was noisy, the ice machine was very hard to find, and was mostly shaved ice. Plastic cups were so thin, they crumbled trying to unwrap them

It was more of a hassle than the savings. If you want any items for your room with a kitchen you reserved, you have to request ALL items from the front desk (including hair dryers, and you have to bring down your dirty linen to exchange for fresh linen, don't forget you are responsible to take out your own trash at the end of each hallway prior to check out) which there is usually only one person on shift to attend to everything. Some of them don't even know you exist they don't look up to see who is coming or going. The breakfast is a joke. Packaged boiled eggs, fruit (orange/apple), granola bars and watered down coffee and package tea. watch out you will get lectured "one per person". This is the included breakfast not worth it. Only 1 young lady was helpful and kind to the customers. Everyone else looked stressed and not happy at their job. I was only there for 4 days but that was enough. This was our first experience at this brand and I can say without a doubt we will book elsewhere. We travel a lot and frequent Arizona and the more pop up hotels come in, the less personable it gets.
