Service was okay

Our stay was great for what we were looking for . We had a very short stay, but they had everything we needed to make it what we needed for our family of 5. Beds were so comfortable, which is always a plus.

July 2026: Update (after my original review): After several months, I wanted to provide an update so future guests have the full story. This matter was ultimately resolved in my favor after a formal credit card dispute. While I recognize that hotels have cancellation policies, I believe this outcome demonstrates that policies should also be applied with reasonable judgment and fairness. The facts were straightforward. I experienced an unexpected family health situation, canceled my reservation the day after booking, and provided more than two weeks' notice before my scheduled arrival. Despite the advance notice and my repeated efforts to work toward a reasonable solution, the property refused to make any accommodation. What disappointed me most was not the cancellation policy itself, but how the situation was handled. Throughout the process, I found the property's management to be dismissive and unwilling to engage in a meaningful discussion. The property is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality. During my research into the management company, I also found a troubling Better Business Bureau history, which unfortunately made my experience seem less like an isolated incident. I do appreciate that Hilton Executive Customer Relations ultimately became involved and worked toward resolving the matter. However, that only occurred after months of escalations, extensive documentation, and a formal dispute process. My hope in posting this update is simply to help future guests make informed decisions. Policies are important, but so is customer care. When a guest cancels the day after booking because of an unexpected family health situation and provides more than two weeks' notice, I believe there should be room for professionalism, compassion, and common sense.

This is my second stay here within 2 months, and my plan is for this place to be where I stay when I travel to Augusta. It is in an excellent location. It is very close to the mall, Washington road and, it is near the Augusta Exchange shopping center and Agerton Lane. All great areas for shopping and eating. I remember when we checked in the first time, I want to make sure I shout-out Eric. He did a wonderful job of handling a very busy lobby. He made sure everyone was taken care of and was very friendly. Another thing that Iiked is the breakfast. For many years, I stopped staying at this brand because their breakfast was more miss than hit for me. I recall a time when I stayed at one and the protein choice was a sausage biscuit that I needed to heat up. Some people may have liked that, but I didn't and that marked the end of my stays there. I have been pleasently surprised these last 2 times with this Home2Suites. They've had great food, to include pork bacon, turkey bacon, and for my first time ever, chicken strips on the breakfast menu! I want to give a special shout out to Tiera for making a great breakfast. When I was checking out, the GM, Lotonia, let me know of a fun "back to school" event they had for kids at the hotel and she let me know about. All the people who helped out with the event truly made us feel like family. They were very kind and really made sure my child had a good time. Special shout outs to the following folks. Latonia Mishra Aezha Kayla Tiera Shakira Shaquin Again, they really made us feel at home.

The male staff member that checked us in was great and gave dinner options nearby. We had a very nice stay. Breakfast was good and we found many options. We would definitely stay there again. Clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel and conveniently located. Located just a couple of blocks off the interstate. Large clean comfortable room. Ample parking. Great hot breakfast here with plenty of choices. Very good service here. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel went out of its way to treat their Masters guests with special treats. We had fresh omelets and fruit and evening appetizers! Nice treats.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for over 30 years and have stayed at many Hilton properties, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. I booked a two-night stay (April 5–6) and needed to cancel two weeks in advance due to a family health situation. Despite that notice, the hotel refused to make any exception — even a partial charge or credit. I fully understand that policies exist, yet what stood out here was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to consider the circumstances, even with advance notice. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the property, including reaching out to management, and also escalated through Hilton corporate. Unfortunately, the outcome remained the same — no accommodation or alternative solution was offered. What was most disappointing was not just the policy itself, but how rigidly it was applied without any discretion or consideration. As a result, I am being charged approximately $1,400 for a stay I will not use, despite providing advance notice and attempting to resolve this reasonably. I share this so others are aware — particularly when booking during high-demand periods — to be very clear on cancellation terms and the lack of flexibility that may be applied.

The room was nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.
